A németek felkínálták a Panama Papers dokumentumait. A szlovák rendőrségtől senkit sem küldtek el érte

Elvileg érdeklődnek iránta, gyakorlatilag pedig nem hozták el…

A német Szövetségi Bűnügyi Hivatal (BKA) 32 európai országnak – köztük Szlovákiának is – felkínálta a Panama Papers-ként ismert dokumentumokat digitális formában. Habár a szlovákok azt állították, hogy szeretnék megkapni, mégsem küldtek el érte senkit sem.

  A dokumentumokat a németek Wiesbaden-i központjukban adták át az egyes országok megjelent képviselőinek. Arról, hogy a szlovák rendőrség senkit sem küldött el érte, a cseh investigace.cz portál számolt be.

  A szlovák rendőrség szóvivője, Michal Slivka elmondása szerint a “Panama Papers dokumentumok átvételéről kommunikálunk (a BKA-val), de az adott ügyben közelebbi részletekről nem számolhatunk be”.

  A Panama Papers-ként elhíresült dokumentumok a Mossack Fonseca panamai ügyvédi irodából tűntek el. A dokumentumokból kiderül, hogy segítettek ügyfeleiknek tisztára mosni pénzüket, elkerülni a szankciókat és az adófizetést. A dokumentumokban több szlovák cég és vállalkozó neve is szerepel. A több 2,6 terrabájtnyi anyagban e-mailek, faxok, szkennelt lapok és különféle szerződések is megtalálhatók. Az 1977 és 2015 közötti időszakban készült dokumentumok 214 488 céget és 14 153 ügyfelet érintenek.

  A BKA-tól 17 ország képviselői vették át a dokumentumokat digitális formában.

Have you ever tried Slovakian wines?  Gruner Veltliner and Muscat Canelli would be two of the grape varieties you would taste made into wine.  Luckily we have Michal and Martina Mosny transplanted from Slovakia, living here in the south Okanagan, bringing their Heritage wines with them through their Winemaker's CUT Estate Winery.  I received these wines and a few others from the winery to taste and review for you.  Let me tell you about their Gruner Veltliner and Muscat Canelli.  I should mention for those of you interested that these are naturally vegan wines. Winemaker's CUT Heritage Gruner Veltliner 2019 (BC $26) -  This wine has a medium bright straw colour.  A medium intensity nose with soft/subtle aromas of citrus mixed with white flowers, lime and a touch of peach.  It is off dry, medium plus body and acidity.  It is roundish with an acidic backbone for structure.  It has a waxy mouthfeel.  You get flavours of green apples, citrus, lime and some peach from mid-palate to finish.  With swirling you also get orange flavour.  The wine has pepperiness and steeliness toward the finish. It finishes pepper with tart citrus and apple and some pith. Medium plus length. Winemaker's CUT Heritage Muscat Canelli 2019 (BC $24) - This wine is bright water white with just a tiny hint of straw colour.  There is quite noticeable bubbles clinging on the edge of the glass.  It has a clean, pronounced nose with lots of ranges, orange skin, lychee and orange blossom.  A sweet nose.  With some swirling you get some lime aromatics as well. It is off-dry with medium-plus body and acidity, and pronounced fruit flavours.  It has a roundish, thicker mouth feel.  Medium acidic prickle on your tongue.  Citrus / orange primarily, along with lychee, a touch of orange blossom and lime skin.  A mediumplus length, finishing off dry with pith and lingering orange flavour.
